WELL-BEING 101
Me, myself and…am I the drama?
Have you ever felt…?
Disconnected from the people closest to you? As though no one truly understands what you’ve been through? Like your emotions are holding you back?
Me, myself and…am I the drama?
An evidence-based 7-week personalised course designed to help you navigate and better understand your mental well-being.
Prior to starting the course, an initial 30min introductory session will be scheduled. Six weeks after the course has finished, an initial debrief will be scheduled to reflect on what you’ve learnt, how you’ve implemented it and how you’ll continue the journey of self-development, self-awareness and self-compassion.
With a BSc in Neuroscience, a PgDip in Global Public Health and Policy and an MSc in Psychology, I have developed a solid clinical and person-centred understanding of how we feel, why we feel and how to help make sense of it all.
My approach goes beyond academic knowledge and incorporates my own personal experiences as well as experiences I’ve had the privilege to help my clients navigate. This combination has benefited my clients because of the genuine empathy, compassion, and intentionality of my practice.
Who is this for?
This course is designed for individuals who have thought about therapy but don’t quite know where to start. It’s a non-diagnostic course designed to teach the psycho-educational coping skills that help manage the turbulent nature of life. From wanting to be a better parent, friend and partner to wanting to make self-care a priority, this course will better your mental health and ability to live the life you want to live.
Key topics we’ll cover include:
What is trauma? - Understanding what’s happened to you and how it’s manifested in your life.
Understanding emotions - How to use words to describe how we feel and learn about why we have emotions.
Why are feelings hard? - Navigating emotional regulation, what makes it hard and how to cope/handle them.
